Fredericton Heritage Trust presented Fredericton Arts and Learning with its 2006 heritage award.
The pewter plaque recognizes FAL for its work in transforming the old Charlotte Street School into the new Charlotte Street Arts Centre.
A similar award went to the 4 Engineering Support Regiment from CFB Gagetown for its involvement in the renovation project.
The awards were presented Feb. 16 during a reception at the Legislative Library.
