| The Charlotte Glencross Scholarship Fredericton Arts and Learning has created a scholarship honouring the late Charlotte Glencross, using donations to the organization made in Charlotte's memory. The $1,000 award for professional development in the arts is being administered by the New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts. The first scholarship has been awarded to Fredericton artist Whitefeather Hunter, to continue her studies in sculpture in Toronto. Details of the scholarship are available here. |

| Visual Arts Festival poster sales featuring painting by Molly Lamb Bobak support children's programming A high-quality poster for the 2009 Visual Arts Festival has been created by the City of Fredericton, and features a painting by renowned artist Molly Lamb Bobak called John, Dick and the Queen. Unsigned copies of these posters are on sale for $10 at the Centre. Special limited copies of the posters signed by Molly Lamb Bobak can be bought for $25. At Bobak's requiest, the funds raised will support ongoing children’s art activities organized by the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. The Charlotte Street Arts Centre is owned and operated by Fredericton Arts & Learning, an incorporated charitable organization dedicated to promoting education, awareness and appreciation for the arts. |
