NB Filmmakers’ Co-operative won the 2004 NB Arts Foundation award as the province’s outstanding arts organization. The Film Co-op runs extensive training programs as well as organizing festivals and screenings.
Atlantic Learning Institute provides English language training and academic courses for international immigrants and students as well as opportunities for experiencing Canadian life and cuture.
COCUY offers Spanish lessons, salsa dancing and provides and a gathering place for the Latin American community in Fredericton. It has a retail area offering Latin American goods such as food products and crafts.
éditions ellipse inc. / Side by Side Festival Côte à Côte is an established organization with a mandate to promote literary translation and intercultural awareness. Its work includes publishing a literary magazine of translated works, organizing a bilingual literary festival and offering workshops, talks and multilingual readings.
Dance studio. Four dance instructors share studio space to offer classes for children and adults in ballet, contemporary dance, Irish dance and Highland dance. The CSAC auditorium will provide much-needed additional rehearsal space for student and professional productions.
Visual arts studio: Four artists sharing studio space provide opportunities for the public to see works in progress.
Music studio: Two professional musicians offer private and group instruction in violin and fiddle, as well as occasional workshops and student recitals.
Multi-purpose room provides space for a wide variety of arts groups and other community organizations to hold meetings and workshops.
